Well, as the we all know GW is Dying, slowly:P LIke it did 1year after its realese. District is getting less populated, and getting groups is getting much harder.. Altough, how to fix it that ppl will gather upp more and make dis more populated? What about removing some servers

? Like i dont have anything against Asia or anything but Many of the Asian dis aswell and Polish,Italian,Spanish,Russian w/e we have, is usually quite empty.. Altough sometimes there is like 3persons in each dis.. But what about removing some of the unnecesary servers so we can say making the English Dis bit more populated?

Not that i make any sense, but removing some of the unnecesary servers so the others get more populated

?

Shouldnt this be in Sardelac? And fwiw, this is the stupidest idea I've heard all day. Some of us like to actually NOT be in districts full of tons of 12 year olds talking all kinds of nonsense which cause us really bad lag on load.

That being said, definitely /not signed. the last thing I want to do is be forced into a dist with a load of kids who think acting like a cussing 6 yr old in a video game is cool (Have you seen the responses a French Canadian gets if he speaks French in the American dists??). Oh and yes, Canada is part of the American continent for those of you that arent aware....

I actually head for the less popular dists on purpose when I have to be in a place for a while. People know how to change districts if they want to in order to find a group.

(sorry faraaz, I seem to have said the same as you basically too..lol).

Anyway, it's not like people actually play together in PvE anymore.

Also the majority is still US players, so the servers would be more benificial to them, everyone else would have more lag.

Well, i was mostly aiming for the PvP Part such as TA, where the population allready is pretty low

And some of the PvE dis wheres it barrely ANY people in American/English dis and like havent been a person in any other dis for weeks:P

hahaha TA no players that is not because of servers its because of sync!!!!!

btw, not signed on removing servers

1) I like empty server for pve, nice and quiet. i forgot the most important thing, I do not get lag on Asian Server
2) If there are only 1-3 players in the Asian district like you say, don't you think its moot to move them to the more populated district? 3 more?? what different does that make?
3) Don't go to deserted server if you like crowd lol top left hand side, click and go to populated server.

Like you said, there aren't many players in the Asian or Polish districts etc. Would be kind of useless closing these districts for the sake of increasing players in others, seeing there aren't much of them to move. What would you win if these were closed, and they needed to go to the English/International? You'd only see people chatting in languages you can't understand.

Just a thought; if everyone who thinks GW is dead or dying didn't post on Guru for 1 week maybe we could see who is left. I doubt it would work as the habit of trolling is hard to break. As to the OP /notsigned, What happens with fewer servers on a event weekend?

Just because I think Diablo 2 is dead/dying doesn't mean I won't play it. I mean, it's free. It's not like I have to renew a subscription.

Oh the joys of seeing "you f'ing communist bastard, get the f off our servers", from the US players everytime an asian script appears in local chat.

Followed up by lagging so badly I need to restart.

I'm not fond of lag at all, but forcing the asian servers shut just so that you can abuse, and subsequently NOT TEAM with players who play on the asian servers just seems stupid.

Furthermore you are forcing players to play on server which they experience some pretty bad lag on. Not just on weekends, but all the time. Every single trip to the NA server in the last year and a half has ended up with me rebooting my PC after the game and subsequently my whole computer freezes up to the point of requiring a reset, upon trying to enter an explorable. No thank you.

The American districts I am in, people already are calling each other "nig.ger" "je.w" "c.hink" just because of their profession race. Just imagine the French, Asian, Spanish texts on local chat and what the Americans will say.
Laggy for foreign players too.
